Holidays are here....and so are...

THE MOVIES!
How many of us as children loved to watch 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', 'Frosty the Snowman', and the one movie with those clay people? I know I certainly did!! I also know that last night while flipping through the stations, I stopped at "The Grinch"...it just brought back memories of when I was younger...drinking hot cocoa with my feet by the heating vent when the heat would kick on (of course fighting my sisters for the vent as well). I didn't watch the whole movie, but it was one of those warm and fuzzy moments all inside!

What are some of your favorite holiday memories?

I love all those movies too! My husband and I still watch them.
Back in my day we had records. At Christmas time my mom would get out all of the Christmas records and my sister and I would dance and sing Christmas carols for hours every day.

Every year at Christmas, we would go to my Grandma's house. It was typically a pretty large gathering with aunts, uncles and cousins. One thing we did was go out in the street and play football. It was a lot of fun trying to catch the ball and stay up on your feet.

We watched them both last night...with popcorn and all! Wait until you and Sean have kids and you'll get to enjoy them all over again!! ;)

On Christmas Day, I go to the movies with my mom, haha, so there aren't many memories there!

Haha, but my family gives our holiday gifts around Thanksgiving because half of us are Jewish & half are Christian, so instead of choosing Christmas or Chanukah, we compromise. My cousins & I wrap our gifts together the day after Thanksgiving & then we open them that night. Afterwards, we all play Scrabble. :)

it's Claymation Christmas and it's so funny that you mention that movie. I was just telling my husband last night that we have to find it on DVD because my family would watch it every year, but it was a really crappy VHS and doesn't work any more! I, too, love Christmas cartoons... I'm most looking forward to claymation Christmas, Garfield Christmas, and the Grinch.
